Iceland moss is used in traditional medicine to reduce inflammation of mouth, throat and digestive tract, peptic ulcer, gastroenteritis, diarrhea, catarrh of the stomach and intestine. It also helps to treat varicose veins, thyroid pathologies, diabetes, asthma, bronchitis, wounds and neoplasms. Usnic acid effectively kills tubercle bacillus.
Recipe: add 1 tablespoon of moss to a glass of clod water and boil for 2 minutes. Wait 30-40 minutes and drink one third three times per day. Shelf life: 3 years.
