Due to its antimicrobial qualities, effectively treats with staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus, pneumococcus, Candida fungi, tubercle bacillus and other bacteria. Salicylic acid has antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. Another important substance of the beard lichen is isolichenin, which has antitumor activity.

Directions for use: take 1 tablespoon of usnea and add 1 glass of water to it, then boil for 2 minutes and leave decoction for 30-40 minutes to cool down. Drink one third of decoction three times per day.
